Nanasombat and Lohasupthawee [32] demonstrated the
inhibitory effect of C. sativum EO against 25 bacterial strains
(20 serotypes of Salmonella and 5 species of other
enterobacteria: Citrobacter freundii, Enterobacter aerogenes,
E. coli, K. pneumoniae, and Serratia marcescens showing
MIC of 4.2 mL/mL to most bacterial strains; Salmonella
enterica serotype rissen was resistant strains to C. sativum EO
(>62.5 mL/mL).
