Appendix 1 Compensation + Benefits Arrangement The compensation and benefits provided by the Company (subject to changes in Caterpillar’s employee benefits and policies from time to time at Company’s discretion) will include the following: 1. Medical Benefits The employee will join a medical insurance program with company-designated insurer. Details will be provided in the insurance manual. 2. Insurance The employee will join Accident insurance, Life insurance and Total Permanent Disability insurance with company-designated insurer. Details will be provided in the insurance manual. 3. Annual leave The annual leave entitlement (in days) is based on the completed years of service· 1-3 years 8 days; · 4-5 years 10 days; · 6-9 years 13 days; · 10 years & above 15 days. 4. Sick leave The employee will be eligible for paid sick leave up to 30 days as maximum, and medical certificate is required 5. Housing Allowance The employee will receive a housing allowance of THB 5,000 per month. The housing allowance is part of total cash, but not part of base pay, which is not eligible for the calculation of STIP, merit increase and any other C+B programs based on annual base. 6. Fixed Bonus One month base salary, which is equal to employee’s Dec. salary, will be paid as fixed bonus if the employee is an active employee in December. Employee, with less than one year of service as for December 31, should be paid a pro-rated fixed bonus based on the number of days the employee works during the year. Caterpillar (Thailand) Ltd 7.
