care to elaborate? Watchdog also has activator actions. Would like to know what's the actual difference coz “dissident has activator support” and “watchdog has activator support” tells me squat :/

i didnt realize watchdog had activator events, I had to go Activator.app to find out, Anyways Watchdog activator switches are on a per app basis, well Dissident is systemwide. just easier to manage for me. both are good

Had WatchDog and Dissident installed because I wanted to improve my battery life but both tweaks caused huge battery drain on my phone. (iPhone 6, iOS 8.4) I don't know if it's just my personal experience and depends on how I use my phone (I would describe it as normally.. music, twitter, news). However I wanted to share my experience with you because you maybe will have the same problems with these "SmartClose-Tweaks"

Well right now only watchdog seems to have extensive coverage/documentation/tutorial/explanation/available information. Where is the information on dissident?? nobody's sharing that here on reddit. ALL the dissident users are saying is “I'm sticking with dissident” but there's no HOW it works or WHY they think it's better.

Can't judge quality with no actual information! Unless you gonna buy both tweaks to check but then if you gonna pay both then you wouldn't be asking which is better, right?

Based on availability of information and transparency from the dev and dev responsiveness, watchdog feels safer to me. Feel like at least I know what is being done on my phone.M

i tried watchdog on my friend iPhone and looks more better more organised and done the job exactly like it should ... all i care about is SmartClose functionality it seems watchdog is the winner for me
