The history of this temple comes from the fact that a monk named Father Somdet, who wanted to practice Dhamma on the mountain peak. During his journey up, he had to use the help of the rocks and vine to help him climb up the mountain. There were many times when the rice in his alm bowl fell out because of the route and also there were many times when his body was hurt. Time passed and the villagers decided to construct a road and a temple on the hilltop for the monk. Therefore, it turned out to be a tourist attraction.
