In 1940, Beall moved his office to Manhattan but he still worked at his home as well in Wilton, in Connecticut. In 1949, he purchased Dumbarton Farm in Brookfield and a year later he moved all his offices there. His clients include Chicago Tribune, Sterling Engraving, Time magazine, Art Director Club, The New York Hilton, Merrill Lynch and many more. He was the first one-man exhibit of graphic design at Museum of Modern Art in New York. In 1969, 4 years after Beall's death, he earned prestigious Hall of Fame in 1973.
