I don't believe it's been cracked before, I'll tell you how.


1) download tweetbot from here Tweetbot 3 -3.4

2) once you've downloaded it, open it and go as far as you can until you receive the pirate message.

3) close the app from Multitasking and open up ifile

4) open any app you got from the AppStore (I used the twitter app)

5) from the folder of the app copy the folder called "StoreKit" and paste/replace it In the folder of Tweetbot 3

6) log in with the accounts you want

7) download this patch, you have to COPY & PASTE IN SAFARI on your iDevice " itms-services://?action=download-manifest&url=https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/110184537/BC/TB3FIX.plist "

8) happy tweeting

PLEASE NOTE: after installing the patch you won't be able to add accounts. you'll have to re do all this.
this was originally my finding which was picked up by other people and fixed up.

ALSO - once you have done this you CAN update to 3.4.1 by downloading and installing 3.4.1 from appaddict, only after you have done this can it be done.
