Egg Fa Gao / Kueh Apam
Fa gao (‘fatt koh’ or ‘huat kueh’) have in plain, multi color or brown. This traditional recipe has been
made easy yet maintaining the traditional taste.
1 whole egg
1 egg yolk
120 ml water
1/2 teaspoon Baker’s One vanilla essence
1 packet Baker's One fa gao mix
1. Beat egg, egg yolk, water and vanilla essence until light and fluffy
2. Add in fa gao mix continue to beat for another 2 min
3. Pour batter into mould (lined with paper cup)
4. Pour batter into 9” baking tin (lined with parchment paper)
5. Put to steam for 25 min
