Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher has reportedly suffered a major heart attack on board a flight from London to Los Angeles.
According to the website TMZ the 60-year-old star – who plays Princess Leia in the blockbuster series – went into cardiac arrest around 15 minutes before the plane was due to land.
Passengers gave the actress CPR before she was rushed to hospital upon landing.
Carrie first played Princess Leia in the 1977 movie Star Wars: A New Hope as well as appearing in The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi.
She recently reprised the role in 2015 Star Wars film The Force Awakens.
