I seriously think sometimes we can have too much imagination or maybe what I mean is we don’t channel our imagination as well as we could.
We day dream and imagine all these wonderful things and sometimes we don’t leave them there in our imagination like we should. Because then what happens is we see our everyday life as boring and we want and run and hide away in our dreams and imaginary places that we live-in, in our minds. Then what happens is our real life doesn’t live up to what we imagined it should. We get angry and depressed and disappointed.
So seriously I think we should leave all those imaginary places for our writings or journals or whatever place we have them (for the Arts) and then go get a reality check and realise sure our life isn’t quite like the fairy tale we would wish. But we need to find the good in what we have and not dream of what we haven’t. We could waste some beautiful moments because we didn’t feel they lived up to our imaginary moments.
We can get ourselves so hurt because reality isn’t living up to the imaginary. But hey who is really hurting us here. Is it the person that didn’t live up to our expectations or is it us for expecting everything to measure up to what we imagine it should.
Leave all the imaginary stuff for the arts and be real in our personal lives
