The Romans founded London around the year 50, the name of the town originates from the Celtic language. Aluminum (Londinios), in which LON di means ' a place for Heroes '. After the British occupation in 1882, 43 the Romans have built a bridge across the River Thames, and decided to build a pier in the area.
