ที่มาและความสำคัญของโครงงาน
อาหารยุโรปเป็นอาหารประเภทหนึ่งที่มีแพร่หลายในประเทศไทย เนื่องจากการรับเอาวัฒนธรรมตะวันตกมาหลายร้อยปี แรกเริ่มจากสังคมชั้นสูงก่อน ดังจะเห็นได้ว่าปัจจุบันการหาอาหารยุโรปมารับประทานนั้นไม่ใช่เรื่องยาก เนื่องจากมีร้านอาหารยุโรปเปิดบริการกันเป็นจำนวนมาก ทางกลุ่มเราจึงได้หยิบยกอาหารที่คนยุโรปนิยมทางมากที่สุดชนิดหนึ่งมาให้ศึกษากัน นั้นคือ สเต็ก นั้นเอง
สเต็ก (อังกฤษ: steak) คือชิ้นส่วนขนาดใหญ่ของเนื้อโดยเฉพาะเนื้อวัว ในปัจจุบันเนื้อแดงอื่นๆ และปลานิยมตัดมาทำสเต็ก เนื้อสเต็กจะตัดตั้งฉากกับเอ็นของเนื้อเพื่อคงความนุ่มของเนื้อไว้ สเต็กสามารถกินได้ในลักษณะย่าง ทอด หรือ ต้ม ราคาของสเต็กจะค่อนข้างสูงเปรียบเทียบกับเนื้อส่วนอื่น ซึ่งการกินสเต๊กยังคงแสดงถึงความร่ำรวยในบางวัฒนธรรม
ร้านอาหารที่ขายเฉพาะสเต็กจะเรียกว่าสเต็กเฮาส์ โดยการเสิร์ฟอาหารสเต็ก นิยมเสิร์ฟพร้อมกับเครื่องเคียงที่เป็นผักพร้อมทั้งมันฝรั่ง และบนโต๊ะอาหาร มีดสเต็ก จะมีความคมมากกว่ามีดทั่วไปสำหรับใช้บนโต๊ะอาหาร และจะมีการเสิร์ฟไวน์ควบคู่กันไป

วัตถุประสงค์
1.เพื่อเพิ่มโปรตีน ไขมัน ในปริมาณพอสมควร ใยอาหารสูง
2.เพื่อฝึกการทำอาหาร
3.เพื่อเรียนรู้การทำอาหาร สามารถนำไปทำรับประทานที่บ้านได้
