The aim of this thesis was to determine the maximum ratio of diesel fuel and LPG
gas mix that use in a diesel engine as the same condition with pure diesel fuel. The test
engines were 4-stroke, 2499 cc, diesel engines (TOYOTA model 2L). The mixing ratio of
LPG starts from 0 to 40% by weight of mixed fuels then compares the engine performance;
fuel combustion and engine wear between mixed fuels and pure diesel fuel. The test will be
operated at the engine speed of 1500, 2000, 2500 and 3000 rpm. and at each engine
speed, the engine torque will be varied at 50, 90 and 120 N.m. respectively.
