การสังเคราะห์งานวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ1) เพื่อวิเคราะห์และสังเคราะห์องค์ความรู้เกี่ยวการบำบัดทางการพยาบาลในผู้ป่วยมะเร็งลำไส้ใหญ่และไส้ตรง 2) ศึกษาคุณลักษณะของงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวกับการบำบัดทางการพยาบาลในผู้ป่วยมะเร็งลำไส้ใหญ่และไส้ตรง โดยศึกษาจากวิทยานิพนธ์การวิจัยในประเทศไทยระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2542 - 2556 จำนวน 9 เรื่อง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสรุปคุณลักษณะงานวิจัยด้านข้อมูลพื้นฐาน และด้านระเบียบวิธีวิจัยของงานวิจัยและแบบประเมินคุณภาพงานวิจัย
