The hotel is a 4 star hotel on paper and when you look at the pool and the reception you are quickly under the assumption this is the case, but the staff performance severely lets this hotel down. Apart from the Concierge who was spot on, the people at the desk are clearly not acquainted with good customer service skills. On arrival at the hotel I told them I had booked a double room with Agoda which meant a double bed, but I was told that as I was on my own, I would have to use a twin room with 2 single beds! I booked a double room so I could slouch on a double bed, not squeeze on to one single bed! Secondly I was told I would have to leave a 1000 baht security deposit. No 4 star hotel would charge a security deposit because they price out the cheapskates who damage rooms. After the check in, I was intent on leaving the hotel at the first opportunity, and although the room was good, I left early in the morning. The breakfast was probably the only time I received good customer service!
