I don't understand, I just get 3 files but it doesn't seem to contain any discussion of what were the meeting recommendations or conclusions. Just two points from Somboon taking about the debit card system to pay for electricity and camp accommodation costs.
Again, lots of effort and time put into this issue and the method for accommodation costs. It's always been my opinion that, given accommodation provided by CMC is of the most poorest quality and poorly designed when compared to any other accommodation I have seen in the industry (it's small, poorly maintained, hot, stuffy), CMC should provide this poor quality accommodation free of charge as welfare benefit to staff, or at least only charge for electricity beyond a certain amount if people overuse. A model increasingly used in factories leading industry in Thailand is this model, migrant accommodation is free but they charge for electricity once a room uses over their quota. Having workers in one place also very benefit to CMC.
Anyway, these minutes seem to be the welfare committee meeting and not camp committee? I sense there were only 2 request points from the welfare committee although cannot find what they were. But for me, it's very concerning how could only have 2 recommendations from a workplace of 6,000 persons if the committee was functioning effectively.
I hope these two points are useful.
