According to the global warming caused at present, there are many reasons. One of which is carbon dioxide gas. Therefore, this study was a study for the period adsorbents of saturation, adsorption isotherm, capability of adsorption and adsorption efficiency of carbon dioxide. By using 2 types of adsorbent were the eggshell, that was through the eggshell membrane peeling, grinding and sift through the sieve number 4 (Opening Size 4.75 mm), Then bring to burn with temperature 550̊C for 3 hours, and the eggshell, that was through the eggshell membrane peeling, grinding and sift through the sieve number 4 (Opening Size
4.75 mm) but not burnt, in the column with a diameter of 2.7 inches and a adsorbent bed 10 inches. In addition, I researched the graph of relationship between the concentration of carbon dioxide through the adsorbent compared with retention time. This relationship was used to determine the efficiency of absorption and duration of the adsorbent in a saturated. This study found that both types of adsorbent efficient in absorbing a similar. Eggshell, that through incineration, effective in absorbing was 86.51%, this adsorbent was saturated for about 55 minutes, total carbon dioxide adsorption capacity was 0.1617 mgCO2/g sorbent. The eggshell, that wasn't pass burning, effective in absorbing was 89.06%, this adsorbent was saturated for about 85 minutes, total carbon dioxide adsorption capacity was 0.1845 mgCO2/g sorbent. The adsorption isotherm model, that I study from Langmuir isotherm and Freundlich isotherm, that i found the both type were not follow langmuir isotherm but they were agreeable with the Fruendlich isotherm.
