เป็นดอกไม้ที่มีกลีบดอกขนาดใหญ่สีเหลือง เมื่อบานเต็มที่กลีบดอกจะบานออกคล้ายกับร่ม พบทั่วไปตามแม่น้ำของประเทศบรูไน ดารุส ซาลาม โดยเฉพาะแม่น้ำ Tem-burong และยังพบตามบึง หรือบริเวณที่มีทรายสีขาว
