ประเพณีตรุษญวน หรือปีใหม่ของชาวเวียดนาม. ตรุษญวนในภาษาเวียดนามเรียกว่า (Tết Nguyên Đán) แปลว่าเทศกาลต้อนรับแสงรุ่งอรุณของปีใหม่. ในการเฉลิมฉลองเทศการตรุษญวนจะเริ่มขึ้นในวันที่ 23 เดือน 12 ตามปฏิทินจันทรคติของเวียดนาม. ในวันปีใหม่จะมีการเซ่นไหว้เทพเจ้ามีวัตถุประสงค์คือเพื่อส่งเทพเจ้าขึ้นสวรรค์ ในพิธีจะมีการไหว้ปลาคร๊าฟ ซึ่งเทพเจ้าจะขึ้นสวรรค์โดยขี่ปลาคร๊าฟนี้ พอไหว้เสร็จก็จะนำปลาคร๊าฟไปปล่อยในแม่น้ำหรือหนองน้ำเพราะเชื่อว่าปลาคร๊าฟจะแปลงกลายเป็นมังกรพาเทพเจ้าขึ้นสู่สวรรค์
