Three-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to indicate significant differences in metal levels among sites, species
and organs.
one-way (ANOVA) was used to compare metals between species in single organ (significant values,p 0.05). All data were checked, beforehand, for the homogeneity of variances and normality; the data which were not normally distributed or not homogeneous were transformed.
ANOVA was followed by Duncan's multiple range test to determine the position of the variance. All statistical calculations
were carried out with SPSS 18.0 for Windows.
