ในชุด heparin lock จะใส่ heparin soulution 10 – 100 unit/cc. เมื่อผสมเสร็จแล้วจะแบ่งใช้ครั้งละ 1.0 - 2.0 cc

หรือ normal saline solution (NSS) ครั้งละ 1-3 cc ฉีด lock ไม่ให้เลือดแข็งตัว หลังเสร็จสิ้นการฉีดยา

วิธีการฉีดยาเข้าหลอดเลือดดำโดยผ่านชุด heparin lock มีดังนี้

1. เตรียมกระบอกฉีดยาบรรจุ heparin ตามวิธีผสมข้างต้นจำนวน 2 cc (ไล่อากาศออกจนหมด )

6. ฉีด NSS เข้า injection plug 1 cc. เพื่อไล่ยา
7. แล้วฉีด heparin เข้า injection plug เพื่อ lock
วิธีการฉีดยาเข้าหลอดเลือดดำโดยผ่านชุด normal saline lock มีดังนี้
