I checked in early, before 2pm, only to find out that they adhere strictly to the check in time which is a bit disappointing. Waited at the lobby but comforted with quick wi-fi. During check in was informed that the breakfast was only for one - which is strange because I clearly booked for 2 - meaning I had to pay more for my partner. Staff said it was probably since " you booked with Agoda". I don't get it really, sounds fishy. Reception needs to learn to be more discreet when mentioning the type of payment i did online i.e is it really important you say it out loud that i booked a special deal with xx% discount??? The room is nice, modern and SIMPLE. Do not expect tissue papers, earbuds, toothpaste and the amenities one would expect from TYPICAL hotel. I though maybe it is due to me paying a "special price" = bare toilet. Actually, i cant remember if we had toilet paper. . .
Very important for all guest when it comes to this hotel: SECURITY. I put the "do not disturb" tag on my door but still had someone come in. I think it was the housekeeper? How I discovered this is because I was sleeping in the room with the chain on but heard someone try to come in. This is something really serious, in my opinion. Lucky my partner chained the door while we slept.
ALSO, my in-room security deposit was tampered with. 2/3 days I had no problems with it, kept the same configuration. The afternoon i decided was time the housekeeper clean the room, I can't open my security deposit. Fishy? I had to go to the reception at 1am after we reached back to the hotel for someone to unlock it.
Conclusion : I don't really feel safe here, even for the price. Stayed 3-6 May at level 5. You have been warned.
