Everything was a difficulty for the staff. I asked to stay on a high level floor and they said no. I asked if they could change a large note so I had money for the taxi and they said no. I asked for a pen to do a crossword at breakfast and they said no. The maid told me the tip I left each day on the pillow wad not big enough. The toiletries were not replaced when I used the shower gel. I asked and they did replace these each day but I had to ask each day. I got a wake up call at 4:00 am I did not book and when I complained the manager insisted I booked it even though I booked no wake up call at any time nor do I as I use my phone to wake up when I need to. I had two single beds instead of a double and I asked them to change it. They said yes but didn't it do it. I wonder if they understood so I asked again with the same result. They said yes and did nothing about it. The worst staff I have experienced. Usually the opposite in Thailand where the people are friendly and happy to help out.
