We booked the Radisson Blu on high expectation,that this hotel was newly built and that it was in the right location and had and the facilities/restaurants we were looking for. We booked the special rate on their web site that gave us $500 baht discount per stay to be used on any of the restaurants in the hotel. When we arrived the front desk informed me that the restaurant we wanted to used the $500 baht was still closed. What kind of hotel advertise that they have an Italian restaurant and when you arrived it's still under construction, surely you would state on your web site "Hotel still under construction not all facilities are open" so I requested the front desk to be upgraded to have breakfast included on the room price, he advised me that I should used the $500 baht for the breakfast. So every morning we went down to 27 bites had breakfast, and signed our room number on the bill.
After three days of mostly a pleasant stay, with the odd interruption with construction noise we checked out, paid the bills and left. When we arrived home I checked the bills and they had not discounted the $500 baht off the rooms for breakfast. I called the Hotel spoked to the duty manager and he advised me to email them the errors on the bill. After I'd emailed them I received an email stating that there is error and that they will refund me the money. It is now over 2 months and after many more calls and emails still no refund. What really annoys me more than the money is that they continue find excuses blaming the thai banking system for being slow. Obviously them haven't processed it and are not intending too.
Very disappointing for a hotel that preaches 100% custom satisfaction!
