หลักการและเหตุผล
จากข้อมูลไทยรัฐออนไลน์วันที่ 21 ม.ค. 2558 เปิดเผยถึงสถิติการท่องเที่ยวไทยในปี 2557 อย่างเป็นทางการว่า มีนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติเข้ามาเที่ยวประเทศไทย 24.77 ล้านคน นำรายได้เข้าประเทศ 11.47 ล้านบาท นักท่องเที่ยวที่เข้ามาเที่ยวประเทศไทยมากที่สุด 3 ประเทศ ได้แก่ จีน 4.62 ล้านคน มาเลเซีย 2.64 ล้านคน และรัสเซีย 1.60 ล้านคน ทั้งนี้การขยายตัวของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติที่เดินทางเข้าประเทศไทยในไตรมาสที่ 4 พบว่านักท่องเที่ยวจากหลายประเทศขยายตัวถึง 7% โดยเฉพาะจีนขยายตัวเกือบ 70% มีผลช่วยให้ภาคการท่องเที่ยวโดยรวมของปี 2557 ดีขึ้น
ผู้จัดทำจึงได้เล็งเห็นความสำคัญของการท่องเที่ยวของชาวต่างชาติที่มาเที่ยวเมืองไทยโดยเฉพาะวัดพระศรีรัตนศาสดารามราชวรมหาวิหาร (วัดพระแก้ว) ซึ่งเป็นสถานที่อันดับต้น ๆ ที่มีนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติที่มาเยี่ยมชมเป็นจำนวนมาก งได้จัดทำโครงการการสำรวจความพึงพอใจของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติที่มาเยี่ยมชมวัดพระศรีรัตนศาสดารามราชวรมหาวิหาร (วัดพระแก้ว) ขึ้นมา
วัตถุประสงค์
1. เพื่อสำรวจความพึงพอใจของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติที่มีต่อการเยี่ยมชมวัดพระแก้ว
2. เพื่อสำรวจความต้องการของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติที่มาเยี่ยมชมวัดพระแก้ว
3. เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาของชาวต่างชาติที่เดินทางมาท่องเที่ยววัดพระแก้ว
เป้าหมาย
เชิงปริมาณ จากการสำรวจนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติจำนวน 200 คน ที่มาเยี่ยมชมวัดพระแก้ว
เชิงคุณภาพ 1. เพื่อใช้ทักษะในการสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษกับชาวต่างชาติ
2. เพื่อทราบถึงปัญหาที่ได้พบเจอของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติ
3. เพื่อทราบถึงความต้องการของนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติ
