We had 2 connecting rooms for us and our 2 teenagers for 5 nights at this hotel after their sister hotel in Karon, Sugar Marina Art could not give us the connecting rooms we had requested for the first two nights of our trip. To be honest, once we arrived here we were actually glad that Karon had stuffed up our booking as we loved the hotel and loved Kata. The rooms were nice and modern, had all the facilities you would need and the staff really helpful. My only complaint is that there were only 12 deck chairs around the pool, so it was pretty hard to get one at times. The breakfast was amazing, and had a bit of variety from day to day, so we didn't get sick of it.The beach at Kata was really nice and only a 5 minute stroll down the road. The resort is set back from the busy road in a small courtyard with some shops and restuarants, so was really quiet also. We would all definitely stay here again if we come back.
