The T. hemprichii P content was significantly higher at the sites
closer to nutrient sources than at sites distant from nutrient
sources (p < 0.05, Table 2). The P concentrations in the different tissues show distribution patterns that are similar to those found for nutrient loading in the bay (Fig. 3(A–C)) compared with Fig. 2): Transect 1 > Transect 2 > Transect 3 and 1H > 1L, 2H > 2L, and 3H > 3L (p < 0.05). Additionally, there are positive correlations between the P content (in the root, rhizome, and leaf) and the environmental nutrient concentrations (DIP in both the water column and the porewater, Table 4).
