I Miss Phacharaphan Hunkrathok, I would like to explain the reason that I choose to study in the general English course and certificate III and certificate IV in Commercial cookery and Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Hospitality course at RGIT.
Firstly, I consulted with my family and realized that this might be an opportunity for me to go to study in Melbourne, Australia. I visited few schools’ website in Melbourne which offer hospitality classes, RGIT was very impressed for me. The course combined theory, practical, management and business skills in one program. This reason makes me decided to study something else that is suit my capabilities and future career. It is quite different from my education background in Marketing but I think it will be very beneficial for my future.
My future plan is to running my own business in my hometown, it should be a good area to open a business that can generate revenue and value for my passion, and my career at the same time. Thus, I dream for open restaurant and small facility resort in my home town. For the business side, I can use my business skills and commercial cookery skills that I have learn from RGIT that I can use so I need to invest and run the business by my own skills. This is not only for myself and my family, but also contributes a lot to my hometown too. To study and work internship in commercial kitchen will be my new experience that I’ve never done before and I will enjoy it. I can learn new things in hospitality industry very quickly.
I am looking to achieve the qualification Advanced Diploma of Hospitality (Commercial Cookery). These course will provide skills and knowledge for me to operate at a senior level like restaurant or café manager and able to use substantial industry knowledge and wide-ranging, specialized managerial skills. I ensure that I chose the best thing for myself which I could operate my business independently in the future when I return to Thailand.
