เมื่อวันที่ 25 มิถุนายน 2558 เว็บไซต์ราชกิจจานุเบกษา ได้เผยแพร่คำสั่งพลเอก ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา หัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ ที่ ๑๙/๒๕๕๘ เรื่องแต่งตั้งและให้เจ้าหน้าที่ของรัฐดำรงตำแหน่งและปฏิบัติหน้าที่อื่น ทั้งนี้ สืบเนื่องจากตามที่มีคำสั่งหัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติที่ ๑๖/๒๕๕๘ เรื่องมาตรการแก้ปัญหาเจ้าหน้าที่ของรัฐที่อยู่ระหว่างการถูกตรวจสอบและการกำหนดกรอบอัตรากำลังชั่วคราว ลงวันที่ ๑๕ พฤษภาคม พุทธศักราช ๒๕๕๘ นั้น โดยที่ต่อมาหน่วยงานที่มีอำนาจหน้าที่ตรวจสอบได้เสนอรายงานเกี่ยวกับเจ้าหน้าที่ของรัฐเพิ่มเติม จึงจำเป็นต้องประกาศรายชื่อบุคคลเพิ่มเติม ตามความในข้อ ๕ ของคำสั่งหัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ ที่ ๑๖/๒๕๕๘ ประกอบกับจำเป็นต้องแต่งตั้งโยกย้ายข้าราชการบางตำแหน่งเพื่อปรับปรุงประสิทธิภาพของงานอันเป็นประโยชน์ในการปฏิรูปราชการแผ่นดินอาศัยอำนาจตามความในมาตรา ๔๔ ของรัฐธรรมนูญแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย (ฉบับชั่วคราว) พุทธศักราช ๒๕๕๗ หัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ โดยความเห็นชอบของคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ จึงมีคำสั่งแต่งตั้งและให้เจ้าหน้าที่ของรัฐดำรงตำแหน่งและปฏิบัติหน้าที่อื่น รวม 71 คน โดยในจำนวนนี้มีข้าราชการในสังกัดกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ (ศธ.) ประกอบด้วย นายรังสรรค์ มณีเล็ก รองเลขาธิการคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน (กพฐ.), นายศุภชัย สมัปปิโต อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม, นางพิมพ์มาส รังสรรค์สฤษดิ์ ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนหาดใหญ่วิทยาลัย ๒ จ.สงขลา, นายนิวัจน์ พิมเสน ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนนิคม ซอย ๑๐ จ.สตูล, นายเอกชัย ปานเม่น ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ฝึกวิชาชีพกาญจนบุรี “สามสงฆ์ทรงพระคุณ” และนายกิตติ โกมลกุลพัทธ์ ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนบ้านนาไก่นาคำน้อยวิทยา อำเภอสุวรรณคูหา (ภูดอนนาง) จ.หนองบัวลำภู
